Your lawn’s early-strike against crabgrass — before it even shows up.
This proactive pre-emergent formula prevents crabgrass and 20+ other common lawn weeds — so you don’t wait until they germinate and wreak havoc.
Why Weed Wipeout works to stop crabgrass:
-
An advanced, USDA-Organic-Program-compliant blend built around hydrolyzed corn gluten that interrupts weed-seed germination.
-
Covers up to 1,500 sq ft per bottle (one application) — enough to protect a typical home lawn.
-
Safe for kids, pets and beneficial soil life — no synthetic herbicides, no compromise.
-
Made in the USA and includes a hose-end sprayer for hassle-free application.
What sets Weed Wipeout apart:
-
Pre-emergent power: Unlike spot treatments, this product is designed for before the weeds start. That means less pulling, less patchiness, less frustration.
-
Broad-spectrum root-level defense: Stops crabgrass and over 20 other common weed seeds (including barnyardgrass, annual bluegrass, clover, dandelion, etc.).
-
Safety meets strength: Because you’re applying proactively — and because it’s organic-compliant — you can lounge, play & enjoy your lawn without second-guessing.
-
Easy to apply: Hook up the hose, spray the lawn in early spring or fall, avoid irrigation for 24 hours, and you’re done. (Then simply re-apply every ~60 days during the active weed-germination window for best results.)
When to Apply
Apply in early spring before crabgrass and other weeds germinate — typically when soil temperatures reach around 50–55°F for several days in a row.
For cool-season lawns, you can also apply in the fall when soil temps are again near 50°F to prevent winter annual weeds like chickweed and henbit from sprouting.
Note: This is a pre-emergent product — meaning it prevents new weeds from forming. It will not eliminate weeds you already see. For existing weed problems use our Broadleaf Weed Control.
